Job description

Summary/Purpose Assist the department Supervisor in ensuring safety, quality and productivity of the area. This includes but is not limited to solving problems, scheduling personnel, resolving quality issues, conducting daily layered audits, performance appraisals, conflict resolution, training operators and utility personnel, and tracking KPI’s (Bekido, Chokko, etc.) to continually improve the overall performance of the department. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: - Ensure a safe working environment. - Must motivate and encourage associates to meet or exceed plant standards. - Manage and resolve conflict within the work area when necessary. - Maintain professional work environment. Establish fair and consistent treatment standard for all associates to avoid favorites and establish trust and authority. - Make sure all associates are properly trained and have the tools necessary to complete their job. - Manage associates time and attendance. - Complete performance appraisals on associates timely and in a consistent manner, providing constructive improvement comments to motivate and encourage performance improvements. - Focus on continuous improvement related to Safety, Quality...
