Department : Operations Reports To : General Manager: FLSA Status : Non-Exempt: Nature and Scope of Position: This position requires someone with high energy and who enjoys constant guest interaction. Your responsibilities include managing a full-service dining room and overseeing all aspects of the restaurant operation. This includes all processes in the kitchen as well as all dining room service. Hours are based on a 52 hour work week, working a variety of shifts. Opportunities for advancement exist throughout our nine franchised locations in Kansas and Iowa. Training includes a six week MIT program to learn all aspects of the Village Inn system. Essential Functions: - Increase guest counts and sales by delivering Gold Standard Customer Service - Human Resource Management (Training, Developing, Retaining, Supervising, Appraising, Disciplining and Scheduling) - Facility Cleanliness/Repair & Maintenance - Financial (Profits) Management & Administration - Comply with food safety procedures - Work with management team to meet sales goals - Manage food and labor costs - Execute company policies and procedures - Monitor food inventory levels - Manage and maintain safe working condition...
