Schedule: As needed, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Must be available at least two days per week! Pay Range: $16 to $24 per hour Job Summary: The Medical Assistant provides assistance to the Physician and Physician's Assistant with daily administrative and clinical duties. Key Accountabilities: Increase patient satisfaction, compliance with schedule prep, voicemail, accurate end of day batching, compliance with time stamping, compliance with clinical policies and procedures, wait times, timeliness and accuracy with pre certs and authorizations Essential Duties: Greets patients in the waiting room and escorts them to the exam room. Directs patient throughout the patient experience including to orthotics, rehab, surgery scheduling, xray and/or front desk Maintains order, cleanliness, and inventory in the exam room, and prepares exam room for patients to enter.
