Nextran Truck Centers is hiring!: Job Duties: The Diesel Technician is a skilled position that is responsible for repairing and maintaining our customers Medium & Heavy-Duty Trucks. This includes diagnosing issues, preventative maintenance, repairs, disassembly and re-assembly, and writing detailed work notes. - Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs. - Performs work outlined on repair order efficiently and accurately. - Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts. - Communicates with Service Advisor on repair updates and/or delays. - Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order. - Understands, keeps abreast and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, etc. Skills and Qualifications: - Heavy-duty truck repair experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Personal tools.
