Production Welder - 1st Shift

Position Summary: To weld using Stud Welding (SW) and Resistance Welding (RW) machines for the purpose of manufacturing STERIS® product. Shift:7:00-4:30 Monday-Thursday and 7:00am-11:00 on Friday The Experience, Skills and Abilities: 1. Set-up and operate SW and RW equipment using prescribed methods and procedures to weld parts within acceptable tolerances and standards. 2. Ability to build weldments through manual layout process, when required. 3. Read and interpret STERIS® welding blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) including standard welding symbols, travelers, and other working documents. 4. Use required measuring instruments and gages to check and ensure parts meet dimensional requirements. 5. Communicate clearly, both verbally and written, with Engineers, Quality personnel, supervisors, and fellow team employees. 6.
