Job description

The Leidos Performance and Readiness division is hiring a counselor for our Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) and Marines Adolescent Support and Counseling Services (ASACS) program. This program implements a community-based adolescent support and counseling program for the adolescent dependents of U.S. Service members at U.S Military installations. The essential clinical services include assessment, early intervention, and counseling services for adolescents and their families for Alcohol and other drug (AOD) and other behavioral health risk factors. The essential prevention and education aspect of the role includes classroom education for adolescents, in-service training to community agencies, community education, screening for and facilitation of prevention support groups for youth from high-risk environments and participation in community awareness campaigns. This position is anticipated to be available in June 2026. This program offers year-round services, with counselors embedded in the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools.
