Job Description Summary As the Lead Power Electronics Engineer you will be responsible for leading and performing Low Voltage and Medium Voltage power electronics and electrical design tasks on Drive System projects. This is a technical role and will involve working in a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to specify, design, support manufacturing & validation of megawatt-scale power electronics for Marine/Defense, Energy, and Industry applications. Responsibilities: - Review detailed technical specifications for the control of large marine and naval power converters that capture customer requirements. - Maintain ownership of all engineering artifacts associated with specific power converters on projects including software specifications, control specifications, software, control drawings, software, factory acceptance test procedures, and commissioning instructions. - Interface with Sourcing and Purchasing to ensure suppliers products are meeting specifications. - Interface with the Manufacturing and Test departments to ensure the power converters controls are fit for purpose. - Create models of the power electronic controls for use by power systems engineers for performing power...
