Production Planning Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the coordination of the supply-demand match process that will deliver production efficiency while maintaining outstanding customer service. Additional duties will be to drive special projects when required. OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supply Chain Planning - Meet on-time delivery to customers' required delivery date - Provide early warning to functional groups where issues arise - Review and conduct supply-vs-demand gap analysis. Identify problem areas, drive appropriate functional groups and decide on best course of action to meet targeted delivery dates - Generate weekly production schedule and communicate to manufacturing group. Publish any changes. - Coordinate resolution of escalated customer issues and specific product issues cross functionally - Understand quality issues impacting supply and drive necessary actions - Maintain right-size inventory target, within desired product mix, while minimizing cost and inventory obsolescence - Develop and manage material and production planning scenarios to balance supply, demand, and capacity constraints; proactively identify risks, evaluate alternatives, and recommend optimal so...
