The selected individual will oversee the work unit and staff that implement programs designed to facilitate and promote purchases and consumption of Virginia foods and beverages. These include the Virginia’s Finest trademark program for Virginia specialty food and beverage producers, and the Virginia Grown program, including website and logo, for farms and markets selling directly to consumers. This position also oversees marketing and promotional events, including the Virginia Food & Beverage Expo and VDACS presence at major trade and consumer food and beverage events.
