Operating Engineer II, Facilities (Caesars New Orleans)

Job description

The Facilities Operating Engineer II ensures safe, efficient operation of all equipment relevant to boilers, chillers, pumps, life safety equipment, HVAC equipment, Building Automation Systems (BAS), material handling equipment, motorized equipment and emergency generators. PHYSICAL, MENTALAND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, and work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned task. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, climb ladders and work on man-lift type equipment. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to read and understand Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical plans.
