Production Coordinator 3rd Shift

Job description

Position Purpose: Ensure achievement of productivity objectives by allocating staffing resources, direct hourly team members, and supporting improvement initiatives to achieve company goals in a safe manner while following policies and procedures. Essential Functions: Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, perform the following Production Coordinator responsibilities: - Safety - Ensure Employee safety by ensuring all safety devices are in use, the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is always worn, and safety rules/policies/practices are followed. - Report all accidents / near misses to the Production Supervisor, Production Manager and Safety representative within 24 hours. Participate in the completion of the accident investigation / report. - Ensure Employees within the assigned production department attend all safety related training events. - Coordination and Leadership - Coordinate and schedule Employee’s work assignments to achieve established production goals and productivity objectives. - Ensures compliance to the Employee Handbook, Boler Code of Business Conduct, and all other policies and procedures. - Conducts daily shift meetings to communicate safety,...
