Work Shift Day Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Summary: This position supports Mercy's philosophy of patient centered care by providing high quality and up to date diagnosis, remediation, and consultative services to those patients demonstrating changes in their speech, language or swallow functions. These services will be given in a manner to help patients return to the highest level of function within their abilities. Job Description: Job Duties: - Provide speech-language and swallowing services to patients ensuring quality of care as evidenced in the clinical record. - Coordinate patient care with other team members ensuring optimal patient care and communication as evidenced in the clinical record. - Complete all required paperwork following policies and procedures to ensure that documentation reflects care provided and the outcomes achieved as evidenced in the clinical record. - Maintain and enhance personal knowledge as well as promoting professional standards in speech-language pathology. - Attend all required safety training and can describe his or her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards. - Follow Exposure Contro...
