Job description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Create, modify and maintain programs for machines, robotics, 3rd party integration, and complete systems. - Assist Checkout Technicians with factory testing - Create documentation to share knowledge with other Controls Engineers as well as Checkout and Service Technicians - Review and troubleshoot customer field issues and recommend viable solutions for quick resolution. - Work on projects to improve speed, capacity, reliability, functionality, and ease of operation - Assist Service Department in troubleshooting machines, either in the field via telephone or on-site at the customer’s facility - Ensure that programs follow a standardized and structured format and notation for ease of understanding by co-workers and customers. - Perform other tasks or duties as assigned Education and Experience: - Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering (or Related Field) or two-year degree in Engineering (or equivalent and 3 years of related experience in the field of automation and robotics) - Familiarity with motion control, servo controls, HMI, and packaging equipment - AB PLC experience preferred - Fanuc Robot experience preferred - AutoCAD Electrical experience preferr...
