Apogee Architectural Metals Position Summary: The Architectural Enginee r role will promote and sell aluminum building products to architects, specifiers, consultants, and designers by providing technical expertise and building client relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Member of the regional leadership team who supports the achievement of the financial goals of the organization at the regional level. - Responsible for driving architectural promotion of Metals’ products and services within the assigned region to increase brand specification presence. - Maintain regular contacts with key influencers as appropriate within the assigned region. - Maintain technical aptitude and appropriate industry knowledge to assist in raising Metals/Apogee's understanding of market dynamics and key emerging trends within the industry. - Field general architectural inquiries from Metals’ website. - Prospect in ConstructConnect and other lead services and “cold call” to generate new project opportunities. - Enter new project opportunities into Salesforce, notifying sales of the new opportunity, and tracking design phases through bidding. - Represent Metals’ and/or Apogee in appropriate and designat...
