Job description

The EHS Specialist will be r esponsible for implementing environmental, health & safety programs for assigned locations. This may include delivering training on best safety practices, recognizing occupational hazards and meeting site requirements. Role and Responsibilities: Strong understanding of Dow’s Global Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards and requirements. Candidate will have clear understanding of the following: Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) National Fire Protection Association (NFPA): International Fire Code (IFC): Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): Other state, local, or provincial regulatory agencies as required by site activities and needs. Address questions and/or issues related to EHS regulatory requirements with management to bring to resolution in support of Newmark Management or the client’s needs.
