Senior Aircraft Inspector

Summary The Senior Quality Inspector is responsible for executing inspections of transport category aircraft and components in accordance with FAA Part 145 regulations. This role ensures compliance with ensures every aircraft, component, and maintenance procedure complies with all applicable FAA/EASA regulations, OEM specifications, and internal quality-assurance standards as well as customer, and company standards, and supports a team of inspectors in maintaining the highest levels of safety and airworthiness for complex, large-scale aircraft systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform inspections of widebody aircraft (e.g., Boeing 737, 757,777, 787, Airbus A320) and associated components. - Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA Part 145, Part 43, and Part 65 regulations, as well as OEM and customer requirements. - Mentor junior inspectors, providing guidance on inspection techniques, documentation, and regulatory compliance. - Review and sign off on maintenance records, work orders, and airworthiness releases. - Conduct incoming part inspections, and final release inspections. - Coordinate with production, engineering, and customer representatives to resol...
