Worker Type: Employee Job Post End Date: 05/09/2026: Position: Senior Category Management Advisor: Duties: Conduct organizational analysis and implement process improvement initiatives to develop strategic plans aimed at securing the supply of goods and services across our US assets, effectively managing associated price and supply risks. Conduct the sourcing and contracting of external goods and services in an efficient, effective, and ethical manner that generates value for the organization. Conduct spend and supplier analysis within the defined category portfolio. Leverage spend data, business requirements, external market data, and other necessary information to develop category strategies and influence implementation. Assess risk and support the development of enterprise category strategies in partnership with budget owners to achieve overall Cenovus objectives. Lead all aspects of complex sourcing initiatives including RFx activities, development of negotiation strategies and recommendations to award.
