Department: 05500 AMG Hoffman Estates 4847 Hoffman Blvd - Radiology Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: This location has an ICC, Orthopedics, and Pediatrics. Site operates Monday-Friday 8-6pm; and Saturday & Sunday 8-4. Pay Range: $26.55 - $39.85 Major Responsibilities: - Determination of appropriate radiological technique and position for patient using immobilization and support devices. Operates radiology equipment appropriately. - 1)Positions patient, adjusts equipment, secures and immobilizes support devices as needed to tactfully perform procedures. - 2)Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patients condition to obtain quality films for the radiologists. - 3)Secures history from patient regarding reason for prescribed test. - Adherence to all accepted safety standards and practices to ensure patient safety and quality patient care. - 1)Uses universal precautions in daily performance of procedures. - 2)Maintains compliance with established safety standards to protect patients and staff at all time (i.e., appropriate patient shielding, etc.) - 3)Maintains exposure badge. - 4)Maintains s...
