LOCATION: The Salvation Army - Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center - Phoenix, Arizona STATUS: Full time/ Non-Exempt: MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. QUALIFICATIONS: RESPONSIBILITIES: - Must be able to obtain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Instructor Trainer, American Safety & Health Institute Authorized Instructor, and StarFish Instructor Trainer certifications within 30 days of employment. - Must have a minimum of a year or more experience as a certified lifeguard. - Meet and deal tactfully and effectively with the public; work cooperatively with others; analyze situations and adopt a quick and effective course of action. - Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Meet all health & safety regulations as defined by the Health Department & The Salvation Army. - Split shifts schedule may be required to meet the needs of the center. - Have the ability to work with all members in...
