Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Data Governance Specialist to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities: - Establish and govern enterprise data governance frameworks for data quality, metadata management, stewardship, classification, and lifecycle oversight aligned with Army policy, RMF, and privacy requirements. - Review and adjudicate data definitions, lineage models, schema standards, and reference data to ensure consistency, traceability, and interoperability across domains. - Advise senior leadership on data integrity risk, compliance posture, governance maturity, and translate metrics/insights into actionable recommendations. - Coordinate cross‑functional resolution of systemic data quality issues with data stewards, system owners, architects, and analytics teams to align business rules and standards. - Oversee governance workflows, reporting structures, evidence management, and audit readiness for RMF/privacy/compliance activities. - Drive selection, deployment, and improvement of governance tools, catalogs, dashboards, and automation to strengthen data reliability, availability, and dec...
