Warehouse Assistant Manager (Full Time) - Chicago, IL

A&C Plastics is a value-based plastic distributor that has been growing steadily for over 50 years—and we’re not slowing down. We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven—you’ll be responsible for keeping the warehouse running efficiently, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the team to get orders out the door the right way, every time. HOURS: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm COMPENSATION: Base Salary + Benefits: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee pulling and packaging teams to ensure orders are picked and shipped accurately and on time Manage receiving operations to ensure material is checked in and stocked efficiently Review pulling reports and address accuracy issues as needed Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles Conduct and document monthly safety meetings Print and distribute order and shipping documents for warehouse processing Push completed orders through invoicing in the ERP system Coordinate freight pickups and communicate with carriers Inspect outgoing shipments and verify against documentation Assist with routing of local deliveries Operate a forklift to pick, transport, and pack...
