Job description

Thompson First Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic for a direct hire role with a local client in Aston, PA. Candidates that have a background completing largely mechanical repairs in a manufacturing setting are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Requirements: - Inspect various types of industrial, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic machines for functionality issues - Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability - Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner - Perform maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems - Provide corrective maintenance and preventative measures to machines - Keep logs of work and report on issues - Undertake other duties as assigned - Proven experience as Mechanic - Knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components - Ability to use various hand tools (drills, grinders, screwdrivers, hammers, measuring tools etc.) - Ability to follow procedures and practices and read instruction, schematics etc. - Strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines - Good communication skills - Problem-solving abilities Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (GED); Certificati...
