This position may be remote or hybrid - those living within a 1 hour commute will be asked to come to the Berkshire Office 2 - 3 days per week. General Purpose: Provide support to Sales team/ Account Managers by serving as the liaison to all parties involved in the customer order fulfillment process, from order placement to final delivery of product. This position entails communication with Sales, customers, suppliers, plants, and warehouses, as well as internal team members. Demonstrate a positive attitude and the willingness to assist where needed in order to best serve the customer. Job Duties and Responsibilities: ⪠Process customer purchase orders with customer requirements in mind ⪠Source and purchase product (if applicable), confirm availability, enter purchase orders and sales orders, and coordinate with all parties involved in the release and delivery of product ⪠Monitor purchase opportunities in SalesForce or offers in SharePoint for progression, and follow up if approvals aren’t recorded in a timely manner ⪠Manage purchase contracts, ordering product according to the terms of the purchase, and oversee that adequate inventory is maintained for customer orders â...
