Position Overview: - Department: Sleep Lab - Schedule: Full-time Day Shift - 6:00am to 4:30pm, Tuesday - Friday - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Chilton County - Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies. - Prepare patient and equipment for ordered testing. Interview patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures. - Perform and document testing. Monitor patient throughout testing and intervene as necessary to resolve patient needs or equipment issues. - Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs; score, interpret and report results of sleep studies. - Prepare, calibrate, repair and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs/replacements. What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
