POSITION SUMMARY: T he Manager, Data Management is accountable for guiding data standards and quality, governance, master data management, and compliance to drive business value and operational efficiencies. The Manager, Data Management will also be responsible for establishing data governance standards, best practices, training and support for these same initiatives. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Establishes and enhances data management standards, policies, and processes. Collaborates with corporate functional teams and field Business Units to develop standards, implement process, and challenge status quo. Collaborates with IT on technology improvements that enable and enforce data governance and standardization. Identifies opportunities for data standardization and enrichment and proposes potential solutions. Leads the day to day team to define product specifications, milestones, and approve requirements and development. Plans and directs standardization and data cleanup efforts on related projects.
