Social Services Caseworker The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has an opening for a Social Services Caseworker in Henderson, NC. Job Summary: Provides social service assistance to eligible clients in the following areas: food, clothing, and financial assistance rent/mortgage and utility payments; interviews clients to determine need and eligibility to receive services; disaster related social services, prepares accurate and complete client records; refers clients to community agencies and maintains effective working relationships with same; maintaining the food pantry and preparing food boxes as needed for clients on a daily basis responsible for all processes involved in Christmas programs (Elderly Food Baskets and Angel Tree); ensures compliance with program policies and procedures. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of social service practices and principles. Ability to interview clients in order to evaluate and serve their needs.
