Description A dynamic and collaborative research laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Junior Research Scientist with training in molecular biology and strong wet lab skills. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing translational research projects involving mouse models and human pathological specimens, with opportunities for skill development in advanced experimental and analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Perform molecular biology and wet lab experiments with accuracy and attention to detail - Maintain, breed, expand, and genotype mouse colonies - Conduct manual and automated behavioral assays in cancer and pain mouse models - Assist with tissue collection, processing, and analysis from mouse and human specimens - Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with institutional protocols - Contribute to general lab organization and experimental workflows Opportunities for Growth: In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $47,500 - $50,000.
