Terms and conditions apply.** The Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist is a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) and/or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) who specializes in invasive cardiologic procedures performed in either the Cardiac Cath or Electrophysiology Lab. They are required to perform on a team in the roles of a scrub tech and monitor during invasive cardiologic procedures. Education and Certification Requirements: This position requires: Graduate of an accredited RCIS or RCES program. Requires the individual to obtain their RCIS or RCES certification within two years of their hire. ~OR~: Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in a health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing, or paramedic/EMT).
