Job description

Overview Provides supervision of the Northport Medical Center Gift Shop daily operations and volunteers in addition to providing excellent customer service and shopping experience for customers. Responsibilities: - Responsible for overall operations of Northport Medical Center gift shop; buying, receiving, stocking, pricing, displaying, daily balancing of cash registers, payment of bills and inventory, and maintain growth in profit. - Responsible for maintaining organized stock room, ensuring merchandise is delivered to the gift shop in a timely manner. Communicates with vendors concerning damaged items and ensures invoices are correct. - Coordinate annual inventory process. - Assist Director with employee events. - Supervises gift shop assistant(s).
