PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Supervises and coordinates the work for employees on assembly lines or welding lines. Maintain pre-established production levels. Assure compliance with approved methods and procedures. Resolves production scheduling issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of production and materials. Coordinate labor availability and materials supply. Supervises the daily activities of operations unit. Motivates staff and deals effectively with performance and/or production issues. Must be able to read and interpret parts prints, assembly prints and tooling prints. Implements operational procedures.
