Test Cell Operator Department: Operations: Employment Type: Permanent: Location: Chelsea (MI), United States of America Reporting To: Director of Operations: Description: The Test Cell Operator is responsible for the safe execution of vehicle-based testing. An Operator conducts the testing based on various work instructions required to comply with regulatory or industry best practice for development or certification testing. Key Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned or requested . - Receive, prepare and secure customer vehicles for testing on a dynamometer, ensuring proper loading and restraints. - Conduct routine inspections on vehicles, maintain detailed records, and report any issues as needed. - Perform data entry and reporting tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word accurately record, organize, and distribute test results for internal and external use. - Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and operational.
