RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY: Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification. EDUCATION: Minimum: Preferred: LICENSE: - Must be able to read and write English - High school degree or GED Minimum: - Current New York State Nurse Aide Certification. Preferred: SKILLS: Minimum: - Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience - Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. - Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. - Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
