Job Details Job Description: The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator supports the Trauma Program by overseeing the coordination and ongoing management of the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Program in alignment with Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation (PTSF) Standards of Accreditation. Working under the Trauma Program Manager and in collaboration with the Trauma Program Medical Director and multidisciplinary clinical teams, this role ensures continuous evaluation of trauma care, timely case review, event identification, loop closure, and accurate documentation throughout the PI process. The PI coordinator analyzes trauma data, identifies trends, participates in corrective actions discussions, and helps drive system‑wide improvements that enhance patient outcomes and maintain trauma center accreditation readiness.
