JOB SUMMARY: Assists provider in patient care activities conducted in the clinic and performs selected procedures under the direct supervision and request of the provider. Reporting to the Clinical Operations Supervisor, the Medical Assistant performs functions to assist in providing medical care and treatment to patients in the clinic setting. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquires.
