Description Summary/Objective: In conjunction with other members of the team, the TCRP Direct Care Professional (DCP) provides a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for program participants. The DCP teaches program participants to achieve attainable goals regarding, but not limited to, appropriate social behavior, skills of daily living, and education. Additionally, they may provide intensive family engagement and community support to help prevent future crises. Supervision, support, guidance, and role modeling to the youth in the TCRP, are essential job responsibilities. Essential Functions: · While participating in activities on or off Campus, provide constant supervision. · Provide the youth a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment. · Facilitate group skill building activities. · Monitor skills of daily living, complete laundry, encourage proper hygiene and dress habits. · Monitor medical concerns – observing youth self-administration of medications, as required, completing all medical forms and passing all medical issues on to the program RN and/or Program Coordinator. · Prepare, serve, and supervise meals. · Assume telephone and driving duties. · Snow removal, as requ...
