About the Role The Mechanical Engineer V leads the design and development of complex mechanical systems for imaging products used in medical and industrial environments. This role is responsible for translating product requirements into robust mechanical designs, guiding the mechanical development process, and supporting cross-functional project teams from concept through production. The position also drives innovation through research and development of new mechanical, opto-mechanical, and electro-mechanical technologies. Key Responsibilities: Lead the mechanical design and development of new products, ensuring designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements. Develop and evaluate concept designs, perform trade-off analysis, and communicate design progress to project teams. Perform and document engineering analysis including structural (FEA), thermal (CFD), tolerance analysis, and torque calculations. Coordinate with Mechanical Designers and Engineers to develop component models, assemblies, and drawings using CAD tools. Approve design documentation including BOMs, solid models, drawings, and Design History File documentation in compliance with quality systems. P...
