Seasonal Security Team Specialist I 260002WK Description This is a seasonal position for a duration of 90 days, with no extension. The Metro Boston Area Department of Mental Health (DMH) is currently hiring for the position of Seasonal Security Team Specialist I. Schedule: 7:00am – 3:00pm, days off are Wednesday and Thursday Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): Patrols all buildings, grounds, and adjacent areas of the hospital at regular intervals and guards against trespass, theft, fire, and damage to property. Maintains order among visitors and staff; maintains motor vehicle traffic controls on hospital grounds including parking, speeding and other traffic conditions and takes necessary measures to prevent unauthorized use of hospital roads and parking facilities. Performs security duties such as screening visitors, directing traffic, and enforcing parking controls. Provides personal protection to individuals as required including but not limited to, searching for missing goods and persons, conducting surveillance, and investigating complaints and reports of suspicious activities.
