Field Service Power Generation Technician

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in New Hudson, MI. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Completing repair activities on generators or components - Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner - Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools - Maintain detailed records of service - Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies - Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products - Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: - Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. - High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. - Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenance - Proficient Diesel Engine experience. - Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. - Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems. - Understanding switchgear schematics. - Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics.
