Job description

Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Enterprise Architect to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain ARNG enterprise architecture using the DoDAF framework; produce AV, OV, CV, SV, and SdtV artifacts aligning business, data, application, and technology layers. - Conduct current/future‑state architecture assessments, gap analyses, and capability shortfall evaluations; recommend scalable, interoperable modernization solutions. - Map mission objectives to architecture roadmaps, transition plans, and technical capability roadmaps supporting strategic planning and portfolio decisions. - Collaborate with system engineers, data architects, cybersecurity, program leadership, and external partners to ensure new initiatives comply with approved architecture standards. - Maintain and govern the enterprise architecture repository: update models/diagrams, enforce metadata/version control, and ensure artifact traceability. - Support architecture review boards, governance activities, compliance assessments, and DoDAF artifact adjudication. - Evaluate emerging technologies and produce decision‑gr...
