Glasses Manufacturing and Product Design Lead, XR Hardware

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 12 years of experience designing mechanical components such as plastic or metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit boards, or flexes. - 12 years of experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools such as NX or Solidworks. - 12 years of experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) or Design for Assembly (DFA). - 4 years of experience leading multiple engineering teams. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field. - 8 years of experience with consumer electronics with a focus on miniaturization, integration, and manufacturing of system design. - Experience with executing designs for precision mechanical systems, including kinematic design and tolerance analyses. - Experience in scaled manufacturing, including manufacturing process and line design, bring-up, and optimization. - Knowledge of optimal selection processes of materials, adhesives, and coatings used in optical systems. - Knowledge of consumer electronics development processes and an ability to adapt devel...
