Job description

The Director of Construction and Design is responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of construction and renovation projects across Tryon Medical Partners. This role oversees the full construction lifecycle—from concept through completion—while managing external vendors, contractors, and strategic partners. The position ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standards, supporting the organization’s continued growth. Primary Job Responsibilities: Project & Program Leadership - Lead all construction and design initiatives, including comprehensive medical office builds and renovations, to potentially include advanced diagnostics services, and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) projects. - Manage the full project lifecycle: feasibility, design development, permitting, construction, commissioning, and close-out. - Establish project scopes, schedules, budgets, and milestones; proactively manage risks and resolve issues.
