Refurbishment Technician

Job description

QUALIFICATIONS: - Establishes and maintains the preventive maintenance schedules for the refurbishment center’s equipment. - Performs the more complex preventive maintenance tasks for the refurbishment centers equipment. - Diagnose and repair the mechanical aspects of the refurbishment center’s equipment. - When not handling a maintenance related issue this position will perform the day-to-day activities of either a mass spectrometer operator or tanks assembler. - Material handling of awkward and heavy CO2 vessels up to 6 ft. tall and weighing up to 750 lbs. - Maintains an extremely clean and well-organized work area. - Ability to comprehend more complex instructions, correspondence, and memos in written or oral form. - Ability to read and legibly write correspondence and accurately convey information whether by phone or e-mail. - Must be able to read and write English. - Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to self-teach oneself machine operations from a manual. - Ability to foster strong relationships with colleagues and field personnel.
