Job Description Position Responsibilities: - Assures all plant safety/accident prevention policies are adhered to as stated in the co-worker handbook. This includes maintaining a safe work environment and safe work practices, and accident investigation when necessary. Holds co-workers accountable for non-compliance. - Ensures that housekeeping standards are met throughout the facility. - Supports the direction set forth by the shift supervisor. - Partners with the Shift Supervisor to communicate all performance issues. Trains all direct reports to follow all rules, programs and procedures. Coaches co-workers to ensure compliance. - Responsible for on-the-job training of co-workers. Instructs new or reassigned co-workers in the safe and efficient operation of equipment. - Observes production operation within area of control to ascertain compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment.
