Job DetailsJob Location: Exposition Park - Los Angeles, CA 90007Education Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $19.00 - $23.00 HourlyJob Shift: Full-TimeJob Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesROLE SUMMARY: The School and Community Outreach Associate is responsible for assisting School Linked Services & Community Outreach Program Manager with facilitating efficient, timely operations of screening referrals and maintaining relationships with the community and LAUSD and/other schools. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Processes and responds to school linked service requests from LAUSD and/other schools contracted with Wellnest. Maintains ongoing communication with referring party (PSW, School Psychologist) about the referral’s disposition and outcomes through exchange of monthly reports and as well through the county-wide Service Request Tracking System (SRTS) and Service Request Log (SRL) for DMH. Engages in community outreach events with SLS PM in school and community events, ie) back-to-school, resource fair, and health fairs.
