The Care Group (“TCG”) offers high-quality residential care services to complex care clients in 8 homes throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. THE OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for Handyman/Woman Maintenance Worker to join our Sidney Care team in Sidney, B.C. Shifts: 20-30 hours per week. Flexible availability, sometimes on-call (emergency) so preferably to live close by. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Experience in building or facility maintenance. 2. Knowledge of and capability to complete tasks relating to general painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and gardening. 3. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. 4. COVID-19 Vaccine Duties: - Ability to maintain a checklist record of maintenance routines - Ability to communicate professionally with residents, staff, and visitors - Ability to lift up to 50lbs, move furniture, pick up deliveries from hardware stores - Must be physically fit, adaptable, and is an effective team member - Inspects operating condition of all equipment daily. - Inspe...
