Job description

The Warehouse / Logistics Assistant coordinates and executes the assigned warehouse and / or logistics activities and process(es) and ensures operational management of logistical providers and/or internal employees (e.g. warehouse staff, drivers), in line with specifications, orders and safety policies, to ensure safe, efficient and effective material and equipment storage and flows and to optimally support the OpCo’s production, warehousing and distribution processes in realizing their objectives. The Warehouse / Logistics Assistant is a support / execution role in the area of Logistics / Supply chain, focusing on the administrative support and execution of the warehousing function, or on the logistics / (outbound) transport or a combination of both areas. Typically, depending on the size and structure of the logistics / warehousing function, the Warehouse / Logistics Assistant will report to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, or the Warehouse Manager or Transport / Logistics Manager, and this will also define the focus of the role.
