Job Title: LPN Staff III Department: OB/GYN Location: Brockport OB/GYN Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: SUMMARY: The LPN III is responsible for providing direct patient care, usually under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Provider, in accordance with established plans. The LPN maintains quality patient care through consistent standards of nursing practice in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The LPN is instrumental in providing an exceptional experience for patient and family. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conducts and documents a thorough observation of each patient’s medical status upon presentation and throughout the patient’s course of treatment - Assists in the implementation of the patients treatment plan under the direction of an RN or provider - Provides routine nursing services for patients as directed by RN or provider - Complies with the evaluation, treatment and documentation requirements of the department - Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner - Provides regular patient status updates to appropriate personnel - Attends and participates in department/facility meetings as required - Acts in compliance with hospital, regulatory and profes...
