About Opus Opus Inspection builds and operates emission testing programs in states and counties across the US, tailored to local requirements. We work closely with our government partners to help them increase compliance with air quality standards and achieve their public policy goals. Job Purpose: An integral part of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Specialist is responsible for day-to-day administration and compliance activities related to employee leave programs, workers' compensation, Unemployment claims processing, OSHA and EEO reporting, required employment law postings, as well as maintaining HRIS data and Employee Files. Duties & Responsibilities: - Partners with vendors to administer Federal and State leave programs across multiple states, including eligibility review, notifications, tracking time and ensuring timely follow-up with employees and - Partners with vendors to lead the administration of workers’ compensation claims, including coordinating with carriers and internal stakeholders. - Maintains OSHA injury and illness records; prepares and posts the annual OSHA - Prepares and submit annual EEO-1 and other required federal, state, or local HR-related re...
