Summary: Applicant must possess a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, holding either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and must have completed an accredited psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program (PMHNP). Two years of experience in an ambulatory care psychiatric practice setting preferred. The candidate must also possess and maintain a current and unrestricted California Registered Nurse License, California Nurse Practitioner License, California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number, DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate, and hold a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification. A minimum of two years of experience in an ambulatory care patient setting is preferred.
