Some of these projects involve working along the US - Mexico border. The Field Biologist plans, coordinates, and conducts natural resources-based field investigations, prepares field notes, and composes and reviews written reports. They have an extensive knowledge of the local flora, fauna, and their habitats. Essential Functions and Requirements: Assists with the preparation, coordination, and review of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance documents such as Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments, and Environmental Impact Statements for federal agencies.
